Warranty Policy

 

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES WARRANTY

 

    Lumilum warrants that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of three (3) years from the date of delivery to the original end user (Warranty Period).

     

    What does this Warranty Policy cover?

    • Any defects in materials
    • Any defects in workmanship under normal use
    • Any failing or broken components under normal use

     

    This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.


       

      How does Lumilum correct issues?

      If a Product is determined by Lumilum to be defective during the Warranty Period, Lumilum will, at its sole discretion:

       

      • Lumilum will repair the product, at no cost, if the product is still under warranty
      • Lumilum will repair any broken parts of a product using new or replacement parts
      • The product will be exchanged or replaced with a new product of equal or comparable value

       

      Refunds are not guaranteed and will only be issued at Lumilum’s sole discretion if repair or replacement is not feasible.


      How long does the warranty coverage last?

      The Warranty Period for Goods purchased from Lumilum is three (3) years from the date of purchase.

       

      What does this Warranty Policy not cover?

      This warranty does not apply to, and Lumilum shall have no liability for, damage or failure resulting from:

       

      Installation & Use

      • Damage to a product resulting from negligence or improper installation, wiring, programming, or use
      • Failure to follow installation instructions, specifications, or posted guidelines
      • Damage to a product due to improper sealing, water/weatherproofing, or environmental protection

      Product Handling & Modifications

      • Damage due to unauthorized modification, repair, or tampering
      • Misuse, abuse, or negligence
      • Normal wear and tear

      Environmental & External Factors

      • Water damage due to improper installation or sealing
      • Exposure to conditions outside product specifications
      • Electrical surges or power fluctuations
      • Fire, flood, or other natural disasters / "acts of God"

      Other Exclusions

      • Theft, loss, or cosmetic damage not affecting performance
      • Labor costs, removal, reinstallation, or project delays
      • Third-party workmanship or installation errors

       

      Installation Responsibility

      A qualified electrician or professional must install products in accordance with Lumilum’s specifications and national electrical codes.

      Lumilum is not responsible for system performance issues resulting from installation practices, site conditions, or third-party workmanship.


      Control Systems & Programming Disclaimer

       

      Lumilum is not responsible for:

      • DMX addressing, programming, or configuration
      • Changes made to control systems after delivery
      • Integration with third-party control systems, unless explicitly agreed in writing

       

      Technical support may be provided as a courtesy, but does not constitute acceptance of liability.

       

      Claim Process: What do customers need to do to get repairs/service under the Warranty Policy?

      • Contact our Lumilum service team support@lumilum.com
      • Provide proof of purchase (invoice, order number, or order details)
      • Provide photos and/or videos of the installation and issue
      • Return the product for inspection if requested

       

      Failure to comply with these requirements may result in a denial of the claim.

       

      Inspection & Return Requirement

      Lumilum reserves the right to:

      • Inspect and test any product claimed to be defective
      • Require a return of the product for evaluation

       

      Failure to return requested items may void warranty consideration.

       

      Limitation of Remedies

      Lumilum’s sole obligation and the customer’s exclusive remedy under this warranty is limited to:

      • Repair or replacement of defective products

       

      No other remedies, including refunds, are guaranteed


      Limitation of Liability

      To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumilum shall not be liable for any:

      • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
      • Loss of revenue, profits, or business opportunities
      • Labor, installation, or removal costs
      • Property damage or project delays


      Disclaimer of Other Warranties

      All implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this warranty.

      No person or entity is authorized to modify this warranty unless in writing and signed by an authorized officer of Lumilum.

       

      Acceptance of Terms

      By purchasing, accepting delivery, or using Lumilum products, the buyer agrees to the terms of this Limited Warranty Policy.
